I didn't get to read all the books I wanted in 2013 but I did fairly well. (Some of the books I mention didn't come out in 2013 but I still mention them because this is the year I read them 1st).

I thought 2013 was a good year for TV (tho' there's still some stuff I haven't seen - usually cos I don't get the cable channel it's shown on in the UK). Tho' unfortunately it did see some of my favourite shows being cancelled - The Hour and Being Human and a couple of others that I was just starting to really like - Whitechapel and Ripper Street ( ( Read more... )

( My favourite TV of 2012 - part 2 )

I thought 2012 was a good year for TV. There was some great stuff out there - indeed, there is still some stuff that I would have loved to have seen (like Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, the later seasons of True Blood or The Walking Dead) but haven't because I don't have a full cable TV package - but I can wait *g*
